A brief introduction to our borough...
There is always something going on in the eventful resorts of Weymouth & Portland. The area has significantly changed in the last few years, from the multi-million pound investment in a new town centre and a multiplex cinema to the Dorset & Devon coastline being designated a world heritage site. Looking to the future, Portland Harbour and Weymouth Bay will be hosting the sailing events of the London 2012 Olympics, in conjunction with the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy.

The whole idea of this site is to give an unbiased look at the area from the history, the attractions and the night life to the shopping, travelling around and anything else that comes up along the way!
